Sarah and the Big Meanies

Uh-oh, Sarah Palin’s pissed. Who’s she mad at? Those big mean bitches, Tina Fey and Katie Couric. They hurt her feelings, y’all! They exploited her!

Palin told conservative John Ziegler in a recent interview that she thought the multiple interviews with Couric were a mistake since the first one went so poorly. She then lashed out at the CBS Evening News host, questioning the intent behind her inquiry of what Palin read, saying:

“To me the question was more along the lines of, ‘Do you read, what do you guys do up there, what is it that you read?’” “…Katie, you’re not the center of everybody’s universe,” Palin added off-handedly.

Palin took swipes at Tina Fey, whose dead-on impressions of Palin on Saturday Night Live received rave reviews, and prompted Palin herself to appear on the show:

“I did see that Tina Fey was named entertainer of the year and Katie Couric’s ratings have risen,” Palin said in the interview. “I know that a lot of people are capitalizing on, oh I don’t know, perhaps some exploiting that was done via me, my family, my administration — that’s a little bit perplexing, but it also says a great deal about our society.”

You know, it’s funny Palin should talk about exploitation. Because I’d think selling pictures of your grandson to tabloids is about as exploitative as it gets.
