Stupid Email Hall of Fame

crash_teas2We all get them: stupid email forwards. Misguided (or just plain idiotic) friends, relatives and coworkers forward us stuff that promises to be “hilarious” or “amazing,” when it’s actually so damn stupid, you want to reach through the computer and strangle them for sending it to you. These emails belong in the Stupid Email Hall of Fame. This week’s installment comes from my dumbass redneck cousin. I haven’t gotten any emails from him in a while, so I knew this one would be extra stupid:

Remember these are from Australia ..

They have a handle on our politics and apparently have an unbiased media.

REMEMBER THESE WERE ALL FROM AUSTRALIAN NEW SOURCES.

Huh, they must really be from Australian “NEW” sources, as I did not know the San Diego North County Times, The Washington Post,  The New Orleans Times-Picayune and The (Los Angeles-based) Investor’s Business Daily all now have “unbiased” Australians in their Australian offices drawing political cartoons. Did we mention they’re in Australia?

Also, political cartoons are never “unbiased,” that’s the nature of them. And for every cartoon like this, you could find just as many or more portraying the exact opposite message.

Have you received something like this? Or does this email pale in comparison to some of the stupid crap you’ve received? If so, forward those dumb emails to bubblegumculture@gmail.com. We’ll mock and debunk (if necessary) these stupid emails every Wednesday.
