I love Halloween so much. It’s my absolute favorite holiday. So just for fun, I decided to jump on eBay and look for my most favorite Halloween costume from childhood—Cheer Bear of the Care Bears. Yep, that’s your old pal Dotty Z up there, the tall one on the right. Sadly, when I did a search, this is one of the items that popped up: Continue reading

Hey guys, I’m hitting the road this coming week for a long-overdue holiday. I hope you all have a safe and fun Independence Day, and a great week next week. And until we meet again, please enjoy some ’80s magic from the Go-Gos.
See you on the 13th!
Lindsay Lohan turns 23 today. And based on this recent photo, I wish her these things for her special day:
- First and foremost, I wish Lindsay a style change so that she no longer looks like a trailer park slut on vacation at Myrtle Beach.
- I wish Lindsay some stability in her life, and friends who genuinely care about her, and aren’t just in it for themselves.
- I wish Lindsay the self-esteem to realize she deserves more than this.
- I wish Lindsay the soundness of mind to return to work so that she can make the most of her acting talent.
- I wish Lindsay a weekend in the loving, motherly embrace of BAngieB, who’d certainly soothe and protect her pretty, pretty girl.

When your birthday comes and you forget about it. That’s right guys, Bubblegum Culture celebrates its first year this week! I just started this blog on a whim, and honestly, it’s been a lot of fun blabbing about random pop culture stuff this past year. I appreciate any and all of you who’ve read and I hope you continue to do so. And as always, keep the comments coming!
And now, as a gift to us all, one of my favorite birthday clips:
I hope everyone has a safe and fun Memorial Day weekend. And I’d also like to say thank you and honor all those who’ve given their lives defending our country. Your sacrifices are never forgotten!
Since I’m a lucky girl and get tomorrow off (it’s Good Friday, you heathens!)I thought I’d celebrate by sharing my favorite thing about Easter, well, other than the candy. It’s the annual television showing of the classic, The Ten Commandments. In it’s day (1956), it was one of the most epic movies to hit the screen. It won the Oscar for best special effects (which is kind of hilarious now) and was nominated in six other categories, including best picture. But Oscar cred doesn’t explain why I love it so much. I was going to write a post about how lame April Fool’s Day is (it’s the Valentine’s Day of jokes) and why I hate it. But Gawker beat me to it. So now I’ll ask, why do you hate April Fool’s Day?
