The Trainwreck Show with David Letterman

Hoo-boy, is this uncomfortable to watch. Joaquin Phoenix made an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman last night, and well, it was a bit awkward. I really hope this is some kind of elaborate stunt because if not, Joaquin needs to get some serious help.

HOLY LUBE, seriously! angie and i watched it and i was squeezing her arm because i was so uncomfortable!! B thought that it was a stunt but i dont know, i think it was real. joaquin looked pissed and everyone was laughing at him. on one side, i dont like how dave handled things, i felt like he was picking on him, making fun of his new chosen career, doing/saying things to get the audience to laugh, but on the other hand, you can’t go on a show and just sit there, scratching you skankass beard, “idk”-ing everything your host is asking you. WHY ARE YOU THERE. i’m looking at YOU joaquin. it’s a late night comedy talk show. loosen up. or stop taking whatever it is you’re taking.

and gum on the desk? Ensino Man knows better than that. cheh-E-sssay.

  2. Are we channeling ZZ Top, Merle Haggard, or Grizzly Adams?? Whatever the hell you’re doing Joaquin – it’s a total clusterF. Get with the program or get help!

  3. judging by Joaquin’s appearance on the Letterman show, he might be going through an identity crisis
